BMW E30

Race Car

The current BMW E30 is the second E30 to be raced regularly at sprints in South East Queensland. The first E30 (Black) was purchased as a racecar and upgraded by Sunshine Coast Supercars with a set of 6 individual throttle bodies and Megasquirt engine management system.

The current E30 (Red) was purchased as a road car but had previously undergone a complete running gear upgrade by Brintech conversions in Sydney. The E30 now has an M54 3 litre (from E46) engine, and E36 gearbox. The engine has been upgraded with race cams and with ECU Tuning develops 240 rwhp.

Its under constant development (aren't they all !) and currently having a race tuned suspension and full roll cage installed.
